Robbie Lock - Lock Down Sessions [End Of Summer Edition]

Producer from the southwest of England who mainly makes trance music with a tech edge but is also known to venture deeper into different genres in his style . Robbie first taste of dance music came at the tender age of 13 way back in 1995 when he first heard a Paul Oakenfold set on the famous radio 1 essential selection .he recalls " at that age listening to these type of sounds was exciting and something very new for him. Robbie first tried producing in 2001 with not really taking it serious till 2006 when he got himself FL Studio and tried to produce more serious productions. He had first release as a remix out in the end of 2009 and as been building more of a fan base since with his mixture of oldskool sounding trance with a modern touch. He has had releases on labels like Soviet Recordings, Dirt lies and audio, Karmak records, Kornerhouse recordings, Raven studioz records . His remix of Tartarus and Michelle Hutchenson beyond the rainbow reached no. 4 in the audiojelly top 100 charts and he also had his first ever EP for a moment reach the top 100 beatport trance releases charts in 2012 . Robbie in 2012 is as busy as ever in 2012 with productions and is looking forward to 2013 with future release to be coming out.

Matthew from an early age intensely interested in music. After exploring a variety of musical genres for several years for good anchored in the wider electronic music. But just listening to music was not enough for him and he began to try his hand at mixing. Style that suits them the atmosphere of Progressive and Tech Trance. Has played at clubs such as discrete, Glasshouse, Fonobar or Luzztro. In July 2011 he had the honor to perform at the fourth edition of the Global Gathering Poland. As a member of the collective Essential Vibes is a co-organize events in climates Trance and Progressive in Warsaw. He also has his radio show on the waves Afterhours.fm!

Markus Schulz - Global DJ Broadcast (August 29, 2013) With Roger Shah Special Guestmix

Since 2002, Markus Schulz has delivered a slice of his trademark sound through his weekly radio show, Global DJ Broadcast. Today, it remains one of the most respected and critically acclaimed radio shows across all of dance music, accumulating over 20 FM and online syndication partners in the process. The show features Markus each week alongside some of the world’s biggest and best DJs. Guests within the past year have included Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Andy Moor, Gareth Emery, Cosmic Gate, Marco V and Max Graham.

Millions of listeners, fans, producers and DJs alike are continually inspired by Markus’ musical journeys, and this adventure has been taken to the next nevel with the concept of the Global DJ Broadcast World Tour. Airing on the first edition of the show each month, Markus’ sets emanate from the biggest and best clubs, in the sexiest locations, across all five continents. To date, the World Tour has featured in cities such as Shanghai, Buenos Aires, London, Paris and New York.

In the summer of 2008, Global DJ Broadcast will celebrate the Ibiza Summer Sessions season for a third consecutive year, running from June to September. From the outset, the aim with this project has been to provide a reflection of the biggest and best the island of Ibiza has to offer throughout the summer months. For this year, the experience for the listener will be more authentic, as Global DJ Broadcast will provide more live recordings from clubs on the island than ever before.

This week’s broadcast features Markus Schulz joined for a special guestmix from Roger Shah. Next week will be the monthly World Tour edition, featuring Markus recorded live from the Ocean Club at Marina Bay in Quincy last Sunday.

Armin van Buuren – A State Of Trance Episode 628

Armin van Buuren’s radio show ‘A State of Trance’ has been going strong for more than twelve years already. With an estimated amount of 20 million listeners, divided over 26 countries and over 40 radio-stations plus globally through satellite and internet radio-stations, ‘A State of Trance’ is one of the most popular and beloved weekly radio shows around. Armin won the award ‘Best Mix Radio Show’ at the Winter Music Conference in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012. Armin has been voted number one DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 for five years, claiming back the number one in the critically acclaimed popularity poll in 2012.

Armin weekly provides trance fans with a blend of tasty new tunes, the Future Favourite, Tune of the Week and classic track. And the good thing is, it’s not just limited to trance music only. Armin: “What makes trance work so well is that it doesn't stick to one style, and can incorporate electro, minimal, whatever it likes.” The main focus of the show will always be trance, but Armin is not being imprisoned by one style. The radio show is the perfect way to keep track of what the trance lovers want, since the Future Favourite gets voted by them, with a weekly poll held on www.astateoftrance.com.

The birthdays of the A State of Trance show are always celebrated in style. A State of Trance 600 involved a 10 week world tour with 12 shows in 11 different countries. Drawing a total of more than 200,000 visitors and millions of online listeners to ‘The Expedition’ world tour, including sold out shows in Madrid, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Minsk, Sofia, Beirut, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, Miami, Guatemala, New York and finally Den Bosch, the world’s number one DJ looks back upon the biggest world tour he’s ever done. Armin van Buuren ended his successful A State of Trance 600 world tour with the grand finale in Den Bosch, The Netherlands. Nearly 30,000 visitors from 80 different countries travelled to the Brabanthallen for the final event of the tour, witnessing the biggest trance event in Europe.

Every year, at the end of December, the listeners are able to vote for their absolute favourites of the show, that might end up in the ‘A State of Trance Top 20′. A week after, in the last episode of the year, Armin blends the best tunes of that year into a 2 hours Yearmix, that will also appear on a 2-disc album.

For those that can't get enough of the show, Armin has launched an official, weekly ‘A State of Trance’ podcast, which is available on iTunes and contains the highlights of the show.

With an ever growing popularity and a steady group of loyal fans, ‘A State of Trance’ is only getting bigger and better.

Rye Smugglers – Chili Con Karma

Deerob – Deevolution

Released by Electro Panic Records, Deevolution is the first album by Deerob, a 25 year-old EDM producer and studio engineer born in Germany and currently living in Finland. After rocking out in metal bands as a guitarist and drummer he began producing psy-influenced electronica as Deerob in 2008. Eternal Bliss – Full-OM

Full-OM is an intriguing new album by Eternal Bliss, a veteran psytrance act with releases going all the way back to 1995. Originally released in the summer of 2011 by Hyperdisc, this album combines the old school Goa trance spirit with today’s production techniques and live guitar. The mastermind behind Eternal Bliss is PJ Wassermann, a Swiss composer, performer, and producer, who collaborated with his son Sean to create this unique release. Sean laid the foundation and PJ polished the album through live performance and experimentation. The final mixes integrate recordings from various Eternal Bliss live gigs as well as additional studio sessions. Featuring artwork by Psyborg.
