This summer, Dash Berlin had the beating hearts of EDM lovers racing once again. 10 Years Armada Night at ADE: 2nd area added!

In exactly one month, dance land will be living it up in the city of Amsterdam. The legendary Amsterdam Dance Event welcomes visitors from all across the globe, and so do we. Part of this very special convention, is our 10 Years Armada celebration, taking place in Club Escape on Thursday October 17th. 2012 has been an important year for both US producer Audien and singer/songwriter Michael S.. But mark our words, 2013 will be even bigger! Especially now that it kicks off with ‘Leaving You’, the first of hopefully many more collaborations of these promising talents.

Making his debut in 2011 with the massive ‘Mark Me Down’, 2012 turned into a whirlwind of successes for Chicago’s Michael S., from Blake Jarrell collab ‘Say What You Will’, to the solo hits of ‘Broke’ and ‘Rewind’.

Nate Rathbun – better known as Audien, walked the fine line of prog and house, from the warm ‘Eleven Eleven’ and ‘Keep This Memory’ to the rocking ‘Sup’.

Last year, his experiment with the more poppy side of prog-house resulted in the feel-good ‘These Are The Days’, which now gets an official follow-up in the shape of ‘Leaving You’. Another prime time tune, bursting with energy. Classy, catchy and showing exactly why 2013 will be their year.

Filmed during Dash Berlin’s #musicislife charity stadium concert in Mexico City, a historical evening where Dash Berlin gave back to the people of Mexico. With the help of thousands of fans and the amazing people at Barcel and befriended artists such as Emma Hewitt, Anthony Hewitt, Jonathan Mendelsohn, Jorge Nava, Zaa, Roxanne Emery, and of course Christina Novelli, the Dash Berlin #musicislife concert became one of the most emotional and unforgettable nights in the history of Electronic Music in Mexico. Christina Novelli performed the very heartfelt “Jar Of Hearts” together with Dash Berlin, a song originally written by Christina Perri, which became one of the many highlights of the night.

Armin van Buuren launches DJ sound system with Philips

This afternoon, at the IFA Berlin, Armin van Buuren announced a very special collaboration with Philips. They’ve launched the M1X-DJ System, allowing anyone who wants to mix, play and share their music one portable device. Armin van Buuren:”Together, we want to inspire more people to listen to, create and share the music they love.”

“Fans often ask me what equipment they should buy when they want to start mixing themselves,” said Armin. “A lot of kit can be expensive, so with the M1X I wanted to create something that’s accessible for everybody. The other great thing about the M1X is that you can play it wherever you want, whether that’s the beach, the park or your street: it’s the ghetto blaster reinvented for today.”

Live broadcast of A State of Trance radio show from Berlin

Tonight, from 20.00 – 22.00 (CET), Armin will do a special live broadcast from a secret location in Berlin. During his radio show, the Dutch DJ will make a special announcement regarding his upcoming ASOT650 tour and its official anthem. Everyone can tune in live via www.astateoftrance.com.

M1X-DJ System

The system is simple to use and provides an authentic DJ experience for beginners to professionals, depending on how you choose to use the features. With multiple inputs and outputs, aspiring artists can link up multiple M1X-DJs or bigger stereo systems for a more club-like sound. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to share your favorite music from Bluetooth-enabled devices. When the party moves outside or to a remote location that may not have accessible power, the M1X-DJ will play for five hours with D cell batteries.

The Philips M1X-DJ Sound System will be available in November 2013.

Trance music found a new flag bearer. Rising from a new generation of talented DJ’s and producers, Andrew Rayel’s going high score in the game of music.
